Design: Stool DNA extraction was performed with the DNeasy PowerSoil Pro Kit (Qiagen) according to the manufacturer`s instructions. Libraries were prepared starting from 24ng of fecal DNA using the Illumina DNA Prep, (M) Tagmentation kit (Illumina). The procedure followed the manufacturer's protocol with a final clean-up of the pool to be sequenced was performed with 0.6X AMPure XP beads (Beckman-Coulter) and the final library pool was resuspended after the clean-up with 1/3 of the initial pool volume.
